Kui Jiu presentation
Luzhou, a city located in the south of Sichuan province, is famous for high--quality liquor. Kui Jiu is produced in this place. Kui, in chinese, describes high and steep mountains, Kui as the name of Wei is also a chinese surname. There¡¯s a legndary about wei family in the ancient time: Mrs. Wei gare birth to a baby--girl after 2--year pregancy. The family loved the baby so much and named her wei luzi when wei luzi grew up to fourteen, she became so beautiful and attractive that thousands of men contended for her, even the emperor joined the struggle. Suddenly,the god got angry, causing loud thunder and shaking the earth. Then the girl was turned into a high and steep mountain. To commemorate wei luzi, people called it kui mountain. The tear of wei luzi turned into a crystal--clear spring. People began to use water from the spring to make Kui Jiu.It¡¯s said that wei luzi would appear in your eyes once you drank the wine. The emperor knew it and took possession of the wine. Since then Kuijiu was consumed only in the imperial palace. Today¡¯s Kui Jiu, originating from the ancient one, makes better quality and taste. Kui Jiu is charaterized by tastes mellow and pure, chilly and refreshing, and the aftertaste stays long with prefume.
